Windows Intune - Endpoint Protection disabled

Error:
Windows Intune Endpoint Protection does not work on th client machine. On the Windows Intune Center you see this:

Although the the Endpoint Protection is enabled through a Policy, however you still get "Endpoint Protection disabled." on the Windows Intune Administration:

Solution:
  1. On the client go to Services and stop WMI service
  2. Open Windows Explorer, browse to C:\Windows\System32\wbem\ and rename "repository" folder to "ropositoryold"
  3. Restart WMI service.
  4. Open Windows Intune Center, click Check updates. It will detect the Endpoint Protection, reinstall it.

  1. This is a great article to help keep Windows Intune at its most effective. You might want to check out the Windows Intune v2.0 Beta which is available at this link:
    https://mocp.microsoftonline.com/site/services/intune/signup.aspx?offer=winintunewave2beta
Start using and learning the next generation of features and stay ahead of the curve.

More information on the Beta Update can be found on the Springboard site on TechNet:
